When I’m not diving into cybersecurity, I’m curling. Though I can’t play as often as I like, I try to help out in any way I can. Year after year, House of Hearts (HoH) has been a mainstay in the curling community. The charity bonspiel’s (competition) goal is to fight childhood hunger. 100% of all money fundraised is donated. Check out their awesome site for more information on their mission.

For kids who are food insecure, school sponsored programs may be the only consistent meals they receive. One of the programs HoH’s supports gives kids backpacks of nonperishable, child-friendly food items so they don’t go hungry over the weekend. $15 covers enough food for a month for one child.

I hate asking for money, but I really believe in this cause. If you feel generous to throw a few dollars in, I would greatly appreciate it! I’ll also match any donation made towards my name (up to $1,000).
